First Edition: Mim's 5 favourite things.

Lets try something new shall we......

FAVOURITE JEWELLERY:

Ok, lets get into jewellery first, I love jewellery, I blog jewellery too so it makes total sense to start off with jewellery. During the last couple of days I have loved re-wearing my Martine Wester Heritage Hare ring bought last year sometime before Christmas. I have worn it literally everytime I go out, which has been a very rare occasion these last couple of weeks for me :'( The eyes are made out of two citrine Swarovski crystals I believe. Love love love the detail and antique feel.

Other jewellery/accessories that have been my favourites again aswell lately:

FAVOURITE MAKEUP/NAIL-LACQUER/FRAGRANCE/SKINCARE/BATH PRODUCTS:

This bad boy has lately sneaked back to being my everyday tool. Seriously, I couldn't rave about this product enough, put it this way, if you haven't bought one yet, go buy it, your missing out. It retails at £14.00, so it may possibly come across a bit costly to some but I have to say the payoff is absolutely brilliant, a little goes a long way plus you get about 12ml of the product too. Steal! The Clarins instant light natural lip perfector is an amazing product and stays true to its promise as it does nourish, repair and protect lips. I live with the dry lips saga day-in-day-out and this has simply been my SOS lipgloss/balm/whatever. I have the shade 02 Apricot.

And my love affair with Soap & Glory continues......

Aside from the Clarins bad boy, my favourite lip combo these last couple of days/weeks/months without fail has been the SleekMakeup pout polish in #946 Electro Peach or Cherish l/s (satin) by MAC topped with NYX's Goddess of the Night with mega shine lipgloss in #113 French Kiss. I love NYX's jumbo eye pencils, diamond sparkle l/s and mega shine lipglosses :)

FAVOURITE ITEM OF CLOTHING/SHOES/ACCESSORIES:

My boots! The current loves of my shoe life and without doubt these are my favourite things to wear at the moment. I wore them to Uni today possibly for the first time ever and apart from the irritating fact that they make a hell of alot of noise (hopefully this is short term!) they are delicious to wear. They are comfortable, look good, feel good and didn't cost much too.

FAVOURITE TRACK:

FAVOURITE RANDOM OTHER:

I have enjoyed reading mahoosive, big, chunky, threatening textbooks for my final year exams. Sad but true. I want to keep them all!

Finally, I have found accomplishment in condensing my ancient shopping list which had been building since early 2009 to just five items, well technically speaking I can actually now safely say that I have bought everything there was to buy from my ancient shopping list as those five additional items are related to my holiday to Turkey in July this Summer (2011) and are a necessity which will be bought soonish anyways. Here is a shot of the last haul of some of the makeup stuff that I bought (both purchases and repurchases) since February this year, enjoy!

Bath 2010 (Post-Crimbo, Pre-New Year).

Hey, hope your all well, I have been AWOL for ages now but gladly this morning I managed to find the mental energy, capability and motivation to write a new blogpost (go me). Well, to be honest with you, thats not totally true, I am cheating a little, I'm actually re-writing an old blogpost, so technically I'm not writing a new blogpost after all but oh well that still gives me some accidental credit I guess. Anyhow, lets get into this first, I had a post similar to this one that I put up not long after my visit to Bath at the end of last year (post-Crimbo, pre-New Year), but changing account email addresses resulted in all my pictures being lost :'( so I'll have to put it all right back up now, but hey ho not a problemo, as this small trip down memory lane will make it undoubtedly worthwhile.

Some pictures from my trip to Bath...... An Indian Restaurant, Thai Restaurant, English Breakfast, Cafe Rouge, Pizza, McDs, Dune, Accessorize and MAC! Seriously BIG WOW!!!!!! Can you sense my excitement?, I love love love Bath!

N.B. You are being warned, this post will be VERY picture heavy :)

Now, amongst alot of other things, a shopping trip was also obviously on the cards. Apart from spending a months worth of money on just food and eating out, one of the highlight icing-on-the-cake purchases of the weekend trip were these black platform suede ankle boots from DUNE......

......What a beaut, they have my name written all over them!

Oh, and did I mention MAC??

Brule e/s (satin).

House of flies: The 22 carat mania.

Just as the title describes it, a combo of 22ct yellow and white gold pendant with clear Cubic Zirconia stones.

Since the nice warm weather has hit our towns I have preferred wearing shorter necklaces rather than longer ones majorly because I love wearing my watch, my bangles and my bracelets even more now that I can show more wrist and so I find that sometimes wearing a considerable long necklace with all those other things can be a scenario of overkill. Something eye-catching and closer to the neckline can look flattering with any outfit at any time of day.

Also......

......Last month (April) I re-found my love for drinking double chocolate mocha like a b***h! Oops.

......And speaking of chocolate, I was over the moon on finding out that I had won Bourjois' Twitter competition and won myself one of their Chocolate Bronzers in the shade 51! WIN! WIN! WIN!!!!!!

......Oh, and my exams are almost over (YAY!) and I cannot wait for Summer!

......Finally, in an attempt to help myself from going insane due to the massive amount of revision that I am being forced to do for my three exams, I have been listening to this alot:
